North Hills Christian Homeschoolers is an affiliate of the Christian Homeschool Association of Pennsylvania, which exists to support and encourage home educators. CHAP's website offers information on their annual homeschool convention, recommendations on getting started in homeschooling, a copy of the homeschool law in Pennsylvania, and sample legal forms that can be printed from the internet. The Home School Legal Defense Association is a non-profit advocacy organization defending the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children. HSLDA's website provides up-to-the-minute information on legislative alerts and news items involving homeschoolers, statistics and reports on homeschooling, a resource library of articles and information about homeschooling worldwide, and much more.
